which MALDIVES resort to stay

馬爾代夫有眾多resorts, 如果每間stay一星期...可以住到一年多啊。
我今天再日思夜想多點, 今晚就可以發夢成真 (i mean發到夢), 哇卡卡 ~!

右邊密密麻麻的全都是resort name![http://www.maldivesonlineguide.com/photos-main/maldives-map/]


要選擇住哪家resort, 有幾個決定因素︰

• 酒店集團
  單是聽酒店名字已經是不可抗拒! e.g. W, banyan tree, etc...


• 酒店大小及設施一島一酒店, villa數目多時人也多, 資源就會被分薄, privacy也較低。
  (可是villa數目太少的話又好快full...)
  有否dive centre / spa centre / water-sports centre / wi-fi?
  免費/自費的excursion是否吸引?
  BB(bed&breakfast)/HB(Half-board)/FB(Fullboard) or AI(All-inclusive) plan?


• 房間大小及設備沙灘屋 / 水上屋 (water villa or bungalow) 的數目, 分佈?
  房間外型︰一層 / 兩層高? 草屋 / modern house?
  有否private pool / jacuzzi?


• 附近珊瑚礁生態 (house reef)馬爾代夫的珊瑚礁那麼多, 總會有高下之分,
  部分house reef靚到日日見到小鯊魚, 海龜...


• 距離機場航程
  有一部分的 resorts 位處 Male Atoll, 你看到"Male"這名字就猜到它們和首都馬里市有多近, 大概 20 ~ 40-min speedboat 可達, 如果想再「與世隔絕feel」一點又想試搭seaplane, 就要挑遠一點的resorts, 航程通常 2hrs 以內, 再遠的就要搭內陸機啦。


• honeymoon offer馬爾代夫貴為honeymoon勝地, 不少resort都有honeymoon offer以吸引newlyweds...candle-light dinner + free spa >> 吸不吸引?

我考慮到的大致有這幾項, 至於priority就完全視乎自己需要&喜好
像我和bubu就最重視房間啦, 和最好可以搭seaplane

開始找資料時...

1. 可以先刨各位新婚姊妹的maldives blog posts / travel forum, 略略知道哪幾家好的, 沒時間也可以直接叫 travel agent 介紹


2. 不想跟大隊, 或者到時不想見到太多香港人/內地同胞, 可以去看看外國旅遊網站 reviews, 介紹 Trip Advisor - Maldives Hotelshttp://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g293953-Maldives-Hotels.html


3. 台灣網站 「MaldivesToGo帶我去馬爾代夫」, 有文章分享選擇resort方法, 有討論區可發問問題http://www.maldivestogo.com.tw/


4. shortlist了幾家之後, 可以去酒店網頁逐家研究, 或者再做 focus search

我們的選擇過程...大致上由bubu負責 (好陌生的幾個字, 哈!)
不知怎的我對這事沒太大意見, bubu喜歡就可以了 (也是好陌生的說法...)

非常小島, 好像小到沒有beach villa, 最便宜的dhoni suite, 外型像一艘船,
而dhoni正正就是馬爾代夫的傳統船隻名稱

Loft Villa/ One-bedroom Villa, 水很淺, 到膝蓋而已, 卻說可以經常見到鯊魚!

最後介紹大家用這個地圖, 比較清楚的列出各resort位罝, click入去有resort info (copied from resort website)

不過資料比較舊, 有些新resort地圖上是沒有的, info也不太update, 當是有個basic understanding就算了。
